Neuroradiology is a subspecialty focusing on the diagnosis and characterization of abnormalities of the central and peripheral nervous system, spine, head and neck. Imaging modalities include computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Angiography has been traditionally used for diagnosis of vascular abnormalities, masses or lesions, but is being replaced in many cases by CT or MRI angiography imaging and the dynamic post-processing capability of these modalities.
Our neuroradiologists are fellowship trained and board certified.
We are pleased to be part of the first Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) accredited Comprehensive Stroke Program in the country, Kettering Medical Center. The network now has a total of four accredited stroke centers in the Dayton region.
