Our Diagnostic Radiology Residency program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). We are fortunate to be able to accept both D.O. and M.D. candidates.
The primary goal of our 4-year Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program is to produce competent, compassionate, well-rounded, practice-ready diagnostic radiologists. In doing so, the program fosters the continuation of quality care of patients throughout the Kettering Health Network. Residents are instructed with the goal of the highest quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services, education, and research with the effective use of our professional staff. Over the course of their training, our residents develop competency and efficiency in the handling and use of technical equipment under the supervision of KNRI and affiliated staff. We continue to strive to be a leader amongst Osteopathic diagnostic radiology residency programs by continuing to develop an up-to-date curriculum, provide outstanding academic mentorship, and foster quality improvement strategies. Our teaching faculty is comprised of board-certified subspecialty trained diagnostic radiologists. Our community-based program offers exposure to a high volume of cases and a wide breadth of pathology. Our trainees receive extensive hands-on training in performing various diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
